What would happen to Google, Apple, Facebook, YouTube if they did not receive any funding?

You can see that reaching expansion requires at least $10 MM to $20 MM. Unless you are in service business, you’ll need a serious capital to start, develop and market products.

You’re right, I was talking about web startups specifically. Obviously this model doesn’t work in all industries. (Pharmaceuticals and medical devices come to mind.)

Hi georges,

if it’s a “web2.0″ startup, i am sure you can do without funding

for any other technology startups, you still need sizeable funds to make it happen.
